Jonathan Lloy: Project Manager, Design Consultant, Craftsman.
I was born in Annapolis Royal, on the head waters of the Mersey River. Maritime and farm raised, I have been building one thing or another all my life. After completing extensive work experience in British Columbia where I met my wife, Caralee, we have returned to Nova Scotia and the South Shore to raise our family. My daily routine and pastimes (from skiing and cycling to surfing and beachcombing) keep me outdoors most of the time.
I’m glad to be part of an industry that challenges me. I embrace improvements to building techniques and consequently the lifestyles of home owners. The Nova Scotia Home Builders Association and the Atlantic Home Warranty Program foster a community of shared information. Participating with these industry leading associations keeps me up to date on what other professionals are learning and practicing.
I look forward to hearing your ideas and discussing your plans. Contact me today.
Caralee Lloy: Design Consultant, Draftsperson, Administrator.
Raised in Fairmont Hot Springs, British Columbia, Caralee has a deep connection with nature and her surroundings. She has been involved in business from an early age, working with her Mother to build retail outlets and a successful Day Spa. Caralee’s lifestyle has always been active and outdoors. She was taught how to ski at 2 years old and learned how to cycle on the mountain trails along the Columbia Valley. Caralee developed a passion for surfing while traveling abroad and like a magnet, the South Shore of Nova Scotia drew her in.
Working behind the scenes on the popular TV series “Survivor” took Caralee to remote locations around the globe, exposing her to diverse cultures and stimulating her creativity. The long hours needed to develop the sets for Challenges, and Tribal Councils built a strong “Can Do” attitude that Caralee brings to any task.
Caralee understands lifestyle and will detect your needs through formal and informal conversations. She provides design insights and can offer an intuitive sense of colour and flow collaboration. These talents combined with a strong technical background and specific training related to our architectural software is all you need to develop your concept into reality.
Matthew Lewis: Site Supervisor, Logistics Consultant, Craftsman.
Raised in Prospect, Nova Scotia, Matthew is familiar with our coast and its many moods. Growing up Matt could often be found camping among the islands off the Coast of Sambro to St. Margaret’s Bay, or surfing along the Eastern Shore. Matt moved to Liverpool with his wife, Kristen, and family where they have established a homestead providing them with basic needs and the lifestyle they long aspired to have.
Matthew provides a wealth of accumulated knowledge amassed through Nova Scotia’s Carpentry Apprenticeship Program and years of experience. Matt’s dedication to the job is unrivaled; it extends to evenings of researching traditional and new building techniques. A natural aptitude and years in the construction industry have awarded Matt with an understanding of all trade aspects involved in new home construction and renovation projects.
We are glad to have Matt on the team. His easy going demeanor keeps the jobsite experience positive, while his natural efficiency maintains project scheduling.
